One of the most important rules in signage and banners is, \u201cLess is More.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sometimes, we try pack too much information in, with images or text, and it becomes too busy; the reader\u2019s eyes just glaze over. Try keeping it to one logo and one photo, and the minimal amount of text necessary to communicate your message. Remember that readers can get the details later.<\/p>\n

Use your logo to build brand and customer recognition, perhaps a photo to whet their appetite, along with a title line describing the product or event you are promoting. Use minimal details, like the type of event you are promoting, where and when it\u2019s happening, and a call to action like \u201cCall Now,\u201d along with your website address. Just remember, the easier it is to read, the more people will respond to it.<\/p>\n

Installation <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Banners<\/em> are a fantastic marketing tool that can be hung almost anywhere, but if they are not properly installed and anchored they can act like a sail on a boat. Be sure to keep the wind in mind if you hang them on a fence. Use plenty of zip-ties, and implement wind slits as needed to allow the wind to pass through. We don\u2019t recommend hanging them between trees, unless you run a heavy rope between the trees and hang the banner off that main rope. You might also consider purchasing the mesh version of the banner to eliminate wind issues.<\/p>\n

Window cling<\/em>\u00a0is most often applied to the inside of the glass to be read from the outside. It can also be installed on the outside as well; it\u2019s just not as secure from prying fingers. Be sure to specify whether you\u2019re installing it on the inside or the outside of the glass – this dictates how it will be printed. Window cling easily installs using a credit card or a hard plastic squeegee. It is recommended you squeegee from the middle out, as the film applies to the window to eliminate bubbles. Be sure the glass is clean and dry<\/strong> before you install.<\/p>\n

Perforated window film<\/em> installs on the outside of the glass. Air bubbles aren\u2019t are really a problem here but you do want to squeegee from the middle outward, starting at the top using a credit card or a hard plastic squeegee with a felt edge.
